I miss this when I go to the cinema now. We had a Cannon theatre where I live, and whenever we went, they would, of course play this before the start of each movie. Oh, the memories! Sniff! =0)

They both took risks. Cannon with Superman IV, Lifeforce, and Masters of the Universe. Carolco with of course, Cutthroat Island. It is too bad though. Lifeforce was pretty good.

Cannon took over ABC cinemas and to be honest most films from the film company were absolute crap 80 min throwaway movies whenever Menahem Golan/Yoran Globus were in the title credits you knew the films were utter shit and cheaply made under budget an 80s calamity Carolco did extremely well and their movies were great Rambo trilogy Terminator 2 The Doors Mario Kassar/Andrew Vajna were powerhouses in those days

I always remember seeing this logo before all the films at the cinema in Bury St Edmunds years and years ago. It was a Cannon cinema. Now the town centre cinema is more of an art house one, and there’s a bigger multiplex on the edge of town.
